At the end of the first conference day (Thursday, 11 June), we will host a welcome reception at Helsinki City Hall.
Remember to sign up for the City Hall reception by June 3, as attendance is subject to prior registration.

Run to Sauna Löyly
As an alternative to the cocktail hour, you are welcome to join approximately 10km run from the conference venue in Otaniemi to Sauna Löyly in Helsinki.

Conference Dinner and Cruise – Saturday
The conference dinner (Saturday, 13 June) will be held on the island of Lonna, a 10-minute ferry ride from Kauppatori (Market Square), Helsinki.
Guests will travel by scenic cruise from Espoo (details below), followed by a welcome drink and a Nordic dinner in a historic seaside setting. The evening continues with live music and dancing. Return transport to Kauppatori is provided by private ferries.

Dinner on Lonna Island
Lonna Island is part of Helsinki’s archipelago and offers a peaceful setting close to the city. The island is known for its maritime history, sustainability, and local cuisine.
The event takes place in Miinamakasiinit (Mine Storehouses), a historic stone-walled venue with two buildings: one for dinner and one for music and dancing. Between them is a 400 m² terrace with sea views in both directions.

Cruise to Lonna
We offer a private cruise from New Port Kalanokka to Lonna Island. The port is within walking distance of the conference venue (approx. 1.5 km). Tram and metro connections are also available.
Two boats will depart at approximately 18:15 and 18:30. The cruise takes just over 1 hour through the Helsinki archipelago. Drinks will be served onboard.

Public ferries also operate between Kauppatori (Market Square) and Lonna every 30–60 minutes for those preferring independent travel.

Return from Lonna
Private ferries from Lonna to Market Square will depart at 23:00, 00:00, and 01:30 (end of the evening), allowing flexible return times.
Public ferries also run approximately hourly until 00:40.
